Board of Directors

The Butler Main Street Association is a nonprofit organization that strives to promote and develop downtown Butler, Indiana while preserving the historic charm and character of our community.

We work to stimulate economic development in the downtown business district through organization, promotion, and design.

As we seek opportunities to better our community, it is important that we preserve the historic character of the downtown business district and protect the features which define its character.

Meet Our Board Of Directors:

Tracey Robideau - President

Graphic Designer, Manager at Gump’s Smokin’ BBQ

Tracey Robideau has been a Butler native for around 10 years now. She is a full-time graphic designer. Tracey is very active in the Butler community, helping with most activities that happen throughout the year.

She became the President of the Butler Main Street Assocation in late 2021. She also can be found helping out at Gump’s Smokin’ BBQ on the weekend.

Tracey has 2 dogs, Rebel and Smokey, whom she adores. She also loves spending time with her family and spoiling her neices and nephews any chance she can.

Shannon Carpenter - Board Secretary

Executive Director for Dekalb Chamber Partnership

Shannon Carpenter serves as the Executive Director for the DeKalb Chamber Partnership where she connects business, community, and education helping DeKalb County to thrive. Carpenter graduated from Trine University and has served on the board of directors for Angola Area Chamber of Commerce, Steuben Young Professionals Network, and Butler Main Street. She was awarded Emerging Professional of the Year in 2016 and was a finalist for Chamber Director of the Year in 2021.

Carpenter enjoys using vision casting, collaboration, and strategic planning to bring community organizations together to fulfill the unique potential DeKalb County has.

Carpenter, her husband, their three daughters, and dog live in Angola and enjoy days outside and vacationing in the mountains.
